About the ISTR
In 2006, the Indonesian Society of Thoracic Radiology (ISTR) was born from the vision of a group of passionate radiologists who saw the need for a specialized focus on thoracic imaging. This fledgling organization faced a significant challenge: differing perceptions on whether the cardiovascular system should be included within its scope, or if it should solely focus on the respiratory system.
